New Feature: Email Notification of new Listings

We're testing out a new feature that allows you to receive an email the moment a vehicle is listed. You'll be able to signup for separate notifications for the top vehicles you are considering and only receive a notification when a listing that matches your requested vehicle model is added. (With the exception of special offers & industry news which are mailed to our master list)

The Mazda RX7 and Mitsubishi Delica are the first vehicle models to receive this feature while we test things out but you can expect all of our most popular models to get the email notification option soon.

Now is the best time to buy a Japanese Import

The Canadian dollar is at an all time high when exchanged to Japanese Yen, making right now the best time to buy a Japanese imported car in the last 14 years! It's an opportunity for you to pay less money, and receive more car!

Today: 1 Canadian dollar is currently worth 109 YEN
2 Months Ago: 1 Canadian dollar was worth 98 YEN
2 Years Ago Today: 1 Canadian dollar was only worth 85 YEN!
Graph Showing Currency Exchange rates over the past 120 Days

The more YEN you get for our Canadian dollar, the more car you get for your money. Right now you can buy a car that is 10% more valuable for the same price you would have paid 2 months ago.

Nobody knows when the Canadian dollar will fall again, our recommendation is to take advantage of the reduced prices right now before they increase.

Japanese Vehicle Compliance

We've been getting a lot of questions about the recently issued Vehicle Inspection and Standards Bulletin from the CVSE.

There is a lot of rumors and misinformation floating around that imply these changes to the Inspection process have made it harder to import a vehicle from Japan.

We wanted to take a moment to address these concerns and give you the hard facts as we see it.

Please read this important article about how the Inspection Bulletin affects you.

Japanese Auctions!

Japanese Auctions, Auctions, Auctions! You may have noticed dozens of Japanese Auction cars and trucks being listed almost daily.

Auction vehicles can be a great way to save money and get a higher quality vehicle but you need to act fast when you see the one you want. Typicaly we will list an auction vehicle in the morning and it will be up for auction later that night.

If you see a vehicle that you want to own, send us an Inquiry and place your $1000 deposit. We won't place a bid without calling you first and won't bid on a vehicle that our agents in Japan can't view in person first.

You may have also noticed that we list many examples of just a few models. When choosing vehicle to feature for you, we look at our Custom Order Requests to see what clients like yourself are in the market for.

What about pricing for other Provinces?

We regularly import vehicles for buyers across Canada and will arrange shipping to have the vehicle landed in the closest major city in your province.

The prices we list are landed in Vancouver, BC costs so we will need to adjust the Provincial Sales Tax and add cross-Canada shipping to your cost. For buyers in other provinces and other countries please place your deposit and then inquire for details.
